Fredric Bratt - Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Bratt has more than 20 years of international and commercial experience from the mining & metals industry (mainly nickel, copper, cobalt, lead, zinc, precious and platinum group metals).  He has held the position of CEO since August 2007.  He led the company through a $15 million IPO, and subsequent listing on the Oslo Axess Stock Exchange in December 2007.  Mr. Bratt worked over eight years for Falconbridge International in Brussels, initially as Manager Raw Materials and later as Director Raw Materials, where he was responsible for acquiring nickel, copper, cobalt and PGM bearing raw materials for the smelter in Sudbury, Canada and the Falconbridge Nikkelverk A/S refinery in Kristiansand, Norway. He was previously employed by Boliden over five years as General Manager for the joint Boliden, Trelleborg and Falconbridge office in Moscow. He has held directorships on the board of Falconbridge International Limited, Barbados (1998-2006) and Falconbridge East Limited, Cyprus (1998-2006). Mr. Bratt is a director on the board of Norrsken Energy Ltd.  Mr. Bratt is Swedish and resides in Stockholm, Sweden.

Per Broman - Health, Safety, Environment and Community

Mr. Broman holds a Technical Licentiate in Mineral Processing from the Royal Institute of Technology.  His work experience includes responsibilities for research and development at Sala International (now part of Metso Minerals), Boliden Mineral AB (Chief Metallurgist) and Boliden Rännskär smelter (Research Director).  From 1982 to 1996, he was responsible for coordinating environmental issues for the mining operations of Boliden Minerals.  The assignment was extended to include environmental issues for the Rännskär smelter.  In 1988 he was appointed Vice-President, Environment for Boliden Mineral AB and became a member of its Executive Management Board.  He was subsequently appointed Director Environment for the Trelleborg Group.  From 1996 he worked for Stora Enso, first as Director Environmen,t and then as Senior Vice President.  He has chaired several national and international branch committees/working groups, and has served as a liaison delegate to the World Business Council on Sustainable Development.  He has presented papers at a number of international conferences.  In 1992, he was awarded the Säfström gold medal by the Swedish Mining Engineers´ Association for his “contributions to improve the environmental performance of the mining of sulphide ores”.  Through his company “per b consult”, Mr. Broman has worked for IGE Nordic as a consultant for the last three years.

Lars Carnerud - Manager Operations Development

Mr. Carnerud holds a M.Sc. degree in Mining Engineering from the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden. Mr. Carnerud has had a long and varied experience working for the Boliden group of companies. He began his career, in 1970, as a mine engineer at Boliden’s Laisvall mine. He moved on to become Mine Manager at the large Zinkgruvan lead/zinc/silver mine tasked with overseeing the doubling of mine output. He joined new established Boliden trading arm as trader of base metal concentrates. This was followed by the role of Project Executive, Boliden International, in charge of evaluating prospective global mining projects. In 1989, he joined Saudi Company for Precious Metals as Managing Director. A joint venture between Boliden and Petromin, Mr. Carenrud was responsible for establishing SCPM as the first private mining company in Saudi Arabia. Thereafter, his roles at Boliden encompassed business development, marketing and sales, and strategy. As Project Executive, he assessed the potential of mine project investments in CIS countries. He acted as Managing Director Markets in charge of raw material purchases, as well as the sales of Boliden Rönnskär Works metal products including copper, lead, zinc, precious metals and acid. At the end of his career, based at Boliden’s headquarters in Stockholm, he joined the Strategy Team with responsibility for raw materials and metals markets and metal prices.

Ms. Kirves has over 28 years in resource marketing, and has developed a reputation in base metals market research analysis. She specialised in base metals and precious metals market research, competitor analysis and business intelligence for Xstrata Nickel and Falconbridge Limited. Ms. Kirves founded MK Commodities Consulting to provide market research and investor relations support to small cap resource companies and is a recognized speaker at global metals conferences. She holds an MBA from York University in Toronto, Canada and is a member of the Canadian Institute of Investor Relations.

Tom Lundgren

Tom Lundgren

Tom Lundgren - Waste Management

Mr. Lundgren holds a B. Sc. in geology from the University of Lund, and a Ph.D. in Drainage and Land Improvement from the Royal Institute of Technology in Sweden. He has more than 40 years of global expertise in engineering geology and environmental protection. His professional background covers a broad field of geological, hydrological and environmental issues accomplished through various missions in Sweden, Norway, Russia, Estonia, North and South America, Africa and Vietnam. Working for the Swedish Geotechnical Institute, he participated in the first attempts to develop the national concepts for covering waste deposits in the early 1980′s. Several of the developing projects under his management, resulted in state manuals regulating waste disposal. Mr. Lundgren has been involved in several remediation projects related to mining wastes and industrial hazardous wastes and contaminated industrial sites. Over the last 22 years, he worked for Terratema AB and Hifab AB, as technical expert, project manager, and international reviewer. Through his company Ambiental, Mr. Lundgren continues to be involved in mine project development.

Rolf Ritzén

Rolf Ritzén - Mining

Mr. Ritzén has over 30 years of international mine/mill management in base metals. He received his B. Sc. in Engineering from Technical School of Örnsköldsvik in Sweden. He began his career as a civil engineer at Skanska, a leading global construction company, and then moved on to the Swedish State Power Board as Department Manager overseeing rock excavations for the underground power plants at Vietas, Porjus and Harsprånget. He worked for 14 years in mine management at Boliden Mineral AB including the Aznalcollar and Los Fralies Mines, Spain. In 2000, he was appointed General Manager of Boliden’s Aitik copper-gold open pit mine. From 2006-2008, Mr. Ritzén Chairman of Lundin Mining’s Ozernoe Zinc Project in Russia, responsible for guiding the project through pre-feasibility and feasibility studies to become a six million tonne per year ore mine.

Thomas Månsson - Exploration Manager

Mr. Månsson holds a M.Sc. in Earth Sciences specializing in Mineralogy and Petrology from Gothenburg University in Sweden. He joined International Gold Exploration AB in 2005, and worked as a geologist on the company’s exploration licenses in the Bergslagen area, focussed on their gold, copper and zinc projects. He has spent the past three years responsible for exploration activities at IGE Nordic`s Rönnbäcken Nickel Project through its development into an advanced exploration project. He is responsible for overseeing the project`s exploration program through the pre-feasibility and feasibility stages.

Gary Dempers - Geotechnical Consultant

Mr Dempers is a principal geotechnical engineer with Dempers & Seymour Pty Ltd. He has more than 26 years of experience in open pit and underground geotechnical assessment and mine design. His experience has been gained in the mining and civil engineering industry on various projects in Africa, Australia, South America, Russia, Indonesia and Vietnam. His experience includes new mine design, road construction, water supply and mass excavation projects, bankable feasibility studies, and on site geotechnical advice and training. His experience in the mining and civil engineering industry has been with Rand Mines and LTA construction on various projects before joining the CSIR in Pretoria where he was involved in research into rock mass characteristics. He worked for SRK Consulting for over 10 years as a consultant in geotechnical engineering and rock mechanics. In 2000, he formed Dempers Consulting and then Dempers & Seymour Pty Ltd in 2002. He is a member of the Australian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy and of The South African Institute of Civil Engineers.
