Nickel Mountain Resources will implement a management system focused on continual improvement in all aspects of operations which could have a significant impact on the health and safety of our own employees, of contractors and the communities where we operate. The Company will also take all practical and reasonable measures to eliminate workplace fatalities, injuries and diseases amongst our own employees and those of contractors.
- Continual improvement of our environmental performance:
Nickel Mountain Resources will assess the positive and negative, the direct and indirect, and the cumulative environmental impacts of new projects from exploration to closure. The Company will implement environmental management systems focused on continual improvement, in order to review, prevent, mitigate or ameliorate adverse environmental impacts. Nickel Mountain Resources will rehabilitate land disturbed or occupied by operations in accordance with appropriate post-mining land usage. The Company will provide for safe storage and disposal of mining waste. Effective and transparent engagement, communication and reporting arrangements with our stakeholders are of utmost importance.
