Timothy George
Timothy George - Chairman
Mr. George has extensive experience of diamond production and of the industry in general from his former employment as CEO and Chairman of the Board of Xceldiam Limited, with operations in Angola and South Africa. Mr. George was responsible for the start-up and investments decision which among others, resulted in the listing of the on the Alternative Investment Market in London in 2005. His experience also includes the execution of the sale of Xceldiam’s assets to Petra Diamonds in 2007. Mr. George has worked as Special Projects Officer within Anglo American and De Beers Corporations, as Divisional Metallurgist within the diamond services division at Anglo American Corporation, and with business development of Grinaker LTA Limited’s concessions, mining and infrastructure. Mr. George has a degree within B. Eng. (Honours) Mineral Engineering (class II) from University of Leeds, England. Other board positions include iPower Renewable Energy Systems (Pty) Limited, 3 Laws Capital South Africa (Pty) Limited and Oubokskraal Ltd.
Olle Johansson
Olle Johansson - Director
Olle Johansson has 25 years of mining industry experience, in the marketing and trading of metals. He is co-founder of Rockstream Capital LLP, a Money Management company with an investment focus in metals. Prior to this, he held a number of executive positions in Falconbridge Limited responsible for global marketing and sales of nickel, copper and PGMs; corporate strategic trading; and commodity risk management. Between 1991-99 Olle Johansson worked as President of Falconbridge Europe SA, Brussels, the marketing and sales subsidiary of Falconbridge Ltd. In 1999, he moved to Toronto to assume the position of Director of Commodity Risk Management, responsible for the development of sustainable strategies and policies regarding the corporate hedging and trading activities. Between 2002 and 2004 he was Vice President of Marketing & Sales, Falconbridge Ltd, responsible for global marketing and sales, distribution and market research. In 2004, he moved back to Brussels and worked as Vice President of corporate trading, accountable for the development and implementation of the strategies for all of the corporate metal trading activities. In 2007, he left Falconbridge (Xstrata Nickel) and became a partner of Rockstream Capital LLP. Between 1984 and 1991 Olle Johansson worked for Boliden AB, managing the corporate (Trelleborg AB) price exposure regarding metals by recommending and implementing strategic metals trading on the London Metal Exchange in close liaison with the senior management. Olle Johansson is a Swedish citizen.
Paul Sagberg
Paul Sagberg - Director (Independent)
Mr. Sagberg received a Masters degree in Chemistry from the University of Oslo. From 1985 to 2006, Mr. Sagberg was the Chief Executive Officer of Vestfjorden Avløpsselskap, a major Norwegian water utility, and held several managerial positions with that company from 1980 to 1984. Prior to this, he was a Researcher at Norsk Hydro’s Research Centre, where he developed new analytical techniques, and new production methodologies for fertilizers. He is the founder of ECPS, and since 2008, he has been providing environmental consulting to companies in the energy and water utility sectors. Mr. Sagberg is recognized for his expertise in wastewater treatment. In 1993, he was awarded The Norwegian Water Prize by the Norwegian Society of Chartered Engineers, and in 1995, he received The Kemira Prize award by the Swedish Water and Wastewater Association. He has served on the boards of The Norwegian Water and Wastewater Works Association, and The European Water and Wastewater Works Association, COM II.
Thomas Carlsson
Thomas Carlsson - Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Carlsson is the Acting Chief Executive Officer of IGE Resources AB, as well as the Chief Financial Officer/Controller, a position he has held since 2006. Previous to working at IGE, Mr. Carlsson worked as a manager with ISS Facility Services, Fischer Partners FK AB (Corporate Finance) and with Nordea bank. He has extensive experience in corporate finance having handled public offerings, private placements, company listings, as well as controlling, auditing and financial reporting for listed companies. Mr. Carlsson holds a Master’s Degree in Finance from Stockholm University.
